Ten minutes in. A lifetime of seeing yourself clearly. Free, and never stored.
The board wants a path to profitability by Q3. Not a story.
Culture doesn't scale on its own. We build it deliberately or we lose it.
We need to decide now: compete or partner. The window won't stay open.
Investor memo needs another pass. Reads too defensive.
AI changes every headcount assumption we had. Does the team see it yet?
What's the narrative for the all-hands? They need to feel the stakes.
If I were making the call unilaterally, I'd push option A. But the team isn't ready.
The CRO and CPO aren't aligned. Someone has to call it before the board does.
Three months to product-market fit or we pivot. No softening this.
I keep saying strategy but delivering execution. Something has to shift.
Do we have the right people in the right seats for what is coming?
We need a culture of ownership. Not accountability after the fact.
If we miss this quarter, the conversation changes. No more runway.

Your Leadership, Unlocked
Leading from the inside.
Most leadership development is outside-in. You learn how to communicate better, influence more effectively, manage difficult conversations, build coalitions, read the room. These are real skills that matter. But they have a ceiling.
The leaders who break through that ceiling actually get better at being themselves. They stop trying to manage everyone else and start seeing themselves clearly. They stop asking "how do I get them to do what I need" and start asking "who am I being and is that who this moment needs?"
That's leading from the inside.
Showing up right is about coherence — the alignment between what you actually think, what you actually feel, and what you actually say. When those three things are in sync, people feel it before they can name it. They trust you without knowing why. They follow without being pushed.
The gap between who you intend to be and who you actually are in the room is what limits your leadership. Not the market. Not the board. Not the team.
This is sovereign leadership.
The sovereign leader doesn't need the board to validate them to feel clear. Doesn't need the team to perform to feel confident. Doesn't need the quarter to land to know what they believe.
Most leaders give away their sovereignty without knowing it.
CEOMirror was built to show you — through your own words, in your own patterns — who you are being right now. And to ask the question that changes everything:
Is that who you intend to be?
The mirror reflects what you show it — so you can have greater impact.
Privacy & Data
Your communications stay yours.
Here is exactly what happens to what you paste. Your text is sent over an encrypted connection to our analysis service, which passes it to Anthropic's Claude API for the single analysis that produces your report. No human reads it — not us, not anyone. It is never used to train any AI model. We do not keep it in a database or build a profile from it. The mirror reads your patterns to generate one report, and that is all.
Full transparency on retention: under Anthropic's commercial API terms, your text may be held briefly — up to a matter of days — for their automated abuse monitoring, then automatically deleted. It is never used for model training. This is standard for the API and is the same protection used by enterprise software built on Claude. We hold your communications only for the moment it takes to generate your report; we do not store them afterward.
🔒
Encrypted
Everything is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection, from your browser through our service to the Claude API.
🗑
Not retained by us
We keep no database of what you submit. Anthropic may hold it briefly for abuse monitoring, then deletes it automatically. Never used for training.
👁
Never seen
No human reviews your communications — not us, not Anthropic in the normal course. One machine analysis produces your report.
If you're concerned about proprietary content
The mirror reads patterns, not names. Replace company names and people's names with [Company] and [Person] before submitting — the reflection will be just as accurate. The mirror is looking at how you write, not who you're writing about.
Before: "I told Sarah at Acme Corp that we need to close the deal by Friday." After: "I told [Person] at [Company] that we need to close the deal by Friday."
For security and IT teams — the full data story →
A precise account of where your data goes, for anyone evaluating CEOMirror on behalf of an organization. Written to be forwarded.
Data flow
Your text is sent over HTTPS to a serverless function hosted on Vercel, which relays it to Anthropic's Claude API and returns the resulting report. The function exists only to hold the API credential securely; it performs one analysis call and returns the result. Your communications are not sent to any other destination.
What we store
Nothing, with one consented exception. The analysis function writes your communications to no database and logs no request body. The only data CEOMirror persists is your email address — and only if you explicitly ask us to email you your report — stored with your coherence score and top and bottom dimension so we can follow up. Your communications themselves are never stored, and are not part of that record.
The AI provider
Analysis runs on Anthropic's Claude API under Anthropic's commercial terms. Under those terms, inputs and outputs are not used to train models. Anthropic retains API data for a short window (on the order of days) solely for automated abuse monitoring, after which it is automatically deleted. There is no human review of your content in the normal course of business. Anthropic's data-handling terms are published at anthropic.com.
Transport and hosting
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). The application and its serverless functions are hosted on Vercel. Vercel keeps standard operational logs of function invocations — that a request occurred — but not the contents of your submission, because our code never writes it to a log.
If you need more assurance
For highly sensitive material, you can anonymize names before submitting (see above) — the reflection is just as accurate. The mirror reads how you write, not who you write about. For organizational evaluations or specific questions, reach out and we will answer directly.
The mirror shows you what you show it — read once, then let go.
About
We are the mirror that sees you.
Most leadership tools ask how you see yourself. CEOMirror doesn't ask. It looks at how you actually communicate. With your team, your board, your peers. And reflects back who you're being.
Not who you intend to be. Not who you want to be. Who you are.
CEOMirror detects near enemies. The leadership behaviors that look like virtues but are defenses in disguise. They appear when you're trying your hardest. That's what makes them invisible. Until now.
The sovereignty that comes from the mirror. That's freedom.
CEOMirror was created by Doug Randall, CEO coach based on 25 years of patterns across thousands of leaders from unicorn founders to military generals. It's based on the wisdom and generosity of his teachers including Dan Brown, David Deida, Byron Katie, Richard Schwartz, Roger Martin, Ken Wilber, Peter Schwartz, Joseph Campbell, Steve March, Ella and Max Randall, Nadine Lewandowski, and many more.
Doug is grateful to Andrew Blum, Darren Gold, and all of his colleagues at Trium, whose friendship, rigor, and example pushed Doug to see leadership and himself more clearly.
The Wisdom Model
Ten dimensions. One coherence score.
Each dimension is a creative tension to hold. The sovereign leader holds both sides. The activated leader collapses into one.
01
Authorship
Author ←..→ Character
The Author holds an internal locus of control — they write the story. The Character is written by external forces, reacting rather than creating.
02
Clarity
Clear seeing ←..→ Noise
Clear seeing creates the conditions for others to act with confidence.
03
Attunement
Contact ←..→ Distance
Real contact without losing yourself. The near enemy: living inside other people's nervous systems — tracking everyone else's emotional state so closely you lose your own center.
04
Power
Sovereign ←..→ Diminished
Holding power cleanly creates safety for everyone in the room.
05
Conviction
Rooted ←..→ Wavering
A rooted leader gives others something solid to orient around.
06
Directness
Direct ←..→ Deflected
Saying the true thing, with care, is the highest form of respect.
07
Vastness
Expanded ←..→ Contracted
The ability to hold both vision and detail is what makes a CEO irreplaceable.
08
Equanimity
Stillness ←..→ Activation
A still center under pressure is the most contagious thing a leader has. The activated leader absorbs the anxiety of the room — often the most empathic person there, which is what makes the pattern invisible.
09
Strategic
Foresight ←..→ Operational
Seeing around corners is the gift that earns you the right to lead.
∞
Coherence
Integrated ←..→ Fragmented
When your inner state matches how you show up, people feel it and follow.
Stage I. CEOMirror
Feed the mirror.
Drop in a few things you've written — a memo where you set direction, a Slack thread where you worked something out, a stretch of sent email. The more real the input, the more honest the mirror.
Feed it one context at a time. Team, board, customers, donors — each is a different version of you. Mixing them blurs the read; keeping to one sharpens it.
A note on email. Email leans toward coordination — the strategic and sensitive work often happens elsewhere. If you want the mirror to see the whole leader, include where you actually think and decide, not just your inbox.
